Where are you located?
Ereka Rignell Photography is located in St. George, Utah. Ereka does not have a formal studio but works on location. She is available for travel and has a portable lighting studio that can be set up in most indoor locations.
Do you travel?
Yes! For out of city and state destinations, all that is required is that you provide Ereka with travel compensation and a hotel room if applicable for the duration of your event.
What is your deposit policy?
A 50% deposit is due to reserve your session date. The deposit is calculated at half of the session fee and does not cover additional prints, enlargements, service hours, etc. All additional costs and the remaining balance are due upon package delivery.
What should I wear or bring for my session?
Engagements-bring two outfits. For example a casual set of jeans and top, and another outfit more dressy. Chose moderate colors like black, blue and white or colors that will contrast at the location of your choice. Express your style and be comfortable in what you are wearing. Water and snacks are recommended.
Bridals-remember the dress, shoes, hair accessories, touch up makeup, pins, jewelry, bouquet and one to two people to help you carry items, dress, etc. Please do not bring additional people as this complicates the process and can be distracting. Water and snacks are recommended. Grooms need to bring or dress in the tux or suit, tie and shoes. If the location is outdoor you can expect the clothing to get a little dirty but Ereka will bring a clear tarp to place under the brides gown for seated positions and such. Don't stress about a little dirt, most brides have to have their dress cleaned twice, after the bridals and after the wedding.
Weddings-your all dressed up and look fabulous! Just leave it to me to capture how beautiful you look and all the wedding details!
Senior shots-bring two outfits. For example a casual set of jeans and top, and another outfit more dressy. Chose moderate colors like black, blue and white or colors that will contrast at the location of your choice. Express your style and be comfortable in what you are wearing. Remember any uniforms, props or accessories you want included in your photos!
Maternity-wear what is comfortable. Maternity tops in rich colors of black, blue or white with interesting design patterns or prints that contrast to the location you have chosen. For indoor studio lighting, black and white is best. Flowing, lose pants and a fitted top or tank tend to be the most flattering. Remember any little props as baby blocks, teddy bears, blankets with fun designs or toys that you might like in the photos with you as well as dad, if you would like some couple portraits together.
Family-Coordinating or matching tops with blue jeans or khakis look best. Black, blue and white solids photograph great and long sleeve tops tend to make for the best composition and portraiture look.
Children and Babies-A fun, colorful outfit that represents their style & an outfit that is more formal. Clothing should be comfortable for them and they should like what they are wearing so that the photos will be natural. Toys, snacks, juice, etc. and other changes of clothing should be on hand.
Pets-Photographed best in their typical environment with favorite toys or at spots where they like to lounge or play. Remembering any treats or items that they like will make for happier, more energetic photos.
Commercial & Product-Any staged items you would like photographed, as the venue, products, models, etc. Products can be arranged by Ereka and photographed with the background of your choice or a solid black or white backdrop can be provided.
Business Events-A list of important items, decorations, people, guests and times of events is best to prepare Ereka as much as possible for event flow.
How long does a session usually last?
1-2 hours depending on factors such as the number of subjects, interest of subject, venue permission & time allotment, and the lighting conditions for good exposure. Engagements and bridals are usually 2 hours and weddings anywhere from 2-8 hours or all day coverage. Senior shots and maternity portraits are usually 2 hours, and children, babies and pets are usually 1-2 hours. Commercial, products and event photography may range from 3 hours-all day coverage depending on business needs.
Do you have a studio?
Ereka has a portable lighting studio that can be set up in most indoor areas for a single subject or up to eight persons. This type of portrait session includes your choice of a white or black backdrop.
What is a rush order fee?
The rush order fee costs $35.00 and is for delivery of prints, CD's or packages in less than 1 week upon your request. The fee is reasonable as each of your images takes considerable time to professionally edit, retouch, enhance, print and package for delivery, and the process is normally allotted 1-2 weeks.
What kind of equipment do you use?
Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi Camera Body
Canon EFS 18-55 mm Image Stabilizer Lens
Sunpak PZ40X External Flash Unit and Soft Box accessory
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.1

Weddings, commercial sessions and business events usually run longer and can be anywhere from 200-500 images.
Can I order more CD sets for family members or friends?
One set is included in your package and additional sets are $25.00 each. Just let me know how many sets you would like and this will billed on your final invoice.
